Inspiration
The form of the Craft Buddy was inspired by the chunky hyper-feminine design typical of 90's toy design as well as a slightly melted Starburst candy
Orthographics
I began my process by disassembling a miniature glue gun and measuring and modeling each interior component in SOLIDWORKS. After this I modeled a glue gun casing around it.
Detail
Once I had modeled the glue gun I put the design into Keyshot to render it.
User-Experience
The Craft Buddy is perfect for a student with limited space or a young person in their early years of glue gun access looking for something to jazz up their craft space.
Exploded View
I created an exploded view to communicate how the glue gun fit together and detail the pieces inside.
